Hi, I have a deviated septum and I believe that I also have sleep apnea. My partner (who has severe idiopathic hypersomnia) noticed that I have breathing issues at night and often gasp for air. I’ve always been a very heavy sleeper who needs a lot of rest and I tend to fall asleep very easily when napping during the day. I’ve recently come across individuals who have sleep disorders and I think I recognize the symptoms. I’m wondering if it would be worth doing a sleep study to further understand the issue and see whether or not I should consider a CPAP or septum surgery or other types of treatment. Thank you! Laurent
